BURDEN, Leala (Nee Labrick) In loving memory of Leala Burden (nee Labrick), 83 years, who passed away Monday evening, March 20, 2000 at the St. Joseph Hospital-Elliot Lake. Born in Sudbury, Leala was a devoted member of St. Mark’s United church. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, was a member of the U.C.W. and a former CGIT Leader. Beloved wife of Arthur Burden (predeceased 1985). Loving mother of Joan (Gerald Goddard) of Sudbury, Norma (Sven Bloom) of Elliot Lake and Donald (Joan) of Prince George, B.C. Caring grandmother of Joanne Thompson (Mike) of Toronto, Carolyn Goddard (Bert Bongers) of Bracebridge, Barbara Goddard of Vancouver, Geraldine Townend (John), Jennifer Goddard (Kevin Keturi), Mary Catherine Bloom, Steven Bloom and Lorie Brazeau (David) all of Sudbury, David Bloom (Stephanie) of Elliot Lake, Brian Bloom (Sylvie) of Falconbridge, Kim Beaver (Chris) of Branford, Conn., and Darren Burden (Lisa) of Brooklin. Dear great grandmother and joy of her life, Ryan, Taylor, Emily, Gillian, Matthew, Katie, Robyn, Gillian, Connor, Lynsay, Alisha and Eric. Dear daughter of the late William and Maude Labrick both predeceasd. Dear sister of Hilton Labrick (predeceased), Delta Fleming (predeceased) and Muriel Beaudry of Mississauga. Special aunt of Carol Ann McNamee of Barry’s Bay. Sadly missed by a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, March 25th, 2000 at 1 p.m. Interment in the Parklawn Cemetery.
