BERK, Anita (nee Mendelsohn). In Ottawa on Wednesday, March 22, 2000. Beloved wife of the late Irving (Punky). Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Debra Sara and John Benjamin Ward. Cherished grandmother of Siobhan Iona (Zipporah Yael). Sister and sister-in-law of Harry and Betty Mendelsohn, the late Ida and the late Louis Slavin, the late Joe and the late Rose Mendelsohn, the late Max and the late Bessie Mendelsohn. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
