COUTURE Gerald John pic On Saturday, March 25, 2000 Gerald John Couture of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 32 years. Gerald leaves to cherish his memory: his fiancee Carey-Ann Hofer of Cold Lake, AB; parents: John (Bertha) Couture of Debden, SK, brother: Kevin (Diana) Couture of Debden, Sk; two sisters: Jocelyne (Dean) Possberg of Humboldt, SK, Nicole (Martin) Lajeunesse of Debden, SK; nieces and nephews: Britney and Brenden Lajeunesse of Debden, Sk, Chantel and Noah Possberg of Humboldt, SK, Derrin Couture of Debden, Sk; his fiancee's family: Fred, Doreen and Cory Hofer of Goodsoil, SK; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gerald was predeceased by his grandparents: Walter Dion (1978), Cecile Dion (1999), Emile Couture (2000), Jeanette Couture (1991); godmother and aunt: Yvonne St. Amant (1986); two uncles: Raymond Dion (1969), Leonel Delisle (1975); aunt: Lorraine Couture (1975); cousins: Rita Delisle (1997) and Louise Ann Robin (1961). Prayer services was held on Thursday, March 30, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Debden, SK with Reverend Father Claude Giguere as officiant. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 31, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Debden, SK with Reverend Father Claude Giguere as celebrate. Interment followed din the Debden Cemetery, Debden, Sk. Pallbearers were Andre Couture, Cory Hofer, Marc Belair, Jurgen Grau, Brian Koluk, Marlin Wanzandt, Mario Ruel. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 3, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. at hte St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, AB with Fr. Hamilcar Y. Blanco as celebrant.
