GANDELL, Alexander-Sender Dr. Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, March 25, 2000. Cherished and devoted husband of Ronith (Roni). Beloved father and father-in-law of Gloria and Brian White, Peter and Sonia, Joy, Dov, and the late Jay. Proud grandfather of Marnie and Dayna. Loving son-in-law of Miriam Hirsch. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sam and Molly Gandell, Dr. Joseph and Edie Rubin, the late Bessie and the late Simon Kurtzman, and the late Libby and the late Jack Steinberg. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, March 27 at 1 p.m. Burial at Beit Abraham Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Road, D.D.O. Shiva private. Donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. Alexander Sender Gandell Memorial Fund for Palliative Care, the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, 843-1543.
