BERTRAND Armand - It is with deepest sorrow that the family announce the passing of their father and beloved husband of Alice Bertrand (nee St. Jacques), suddenly at Mattawa General Hospital on Sunday, March 26th, 2000, in his 85th year. Armand is survived by his beloved wife Alice and his six children, Donald, Cecile, Erven, Lily, Edward and Linda. He will also be sadly missed by his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Armand is also survived by his brothers: Justien, Manuel and sister Marie-Anne Roberge. The family wish to thank Dr. L. Gushe and all the nursing staff at the Mattawa General Hospital for their assistance and kindness. Friends and relatives may call at the T.L. Smith Funeral Home, Mattawa, on Monday and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Annes Church, Mattawa, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.(The Daily Press)
