MERKLEY, Muriel (nee Laroque) Wife of Donald, passed away March 27, 2000, after a long battle with diabetes. She leaves with sorrow her husband Donald, her daughter Laurie and grandchildren Kristina and Nikolas, her mother Rhea Laroque, sisters Pauline Burns, Carole Laroque, her brother Michel (Margot), and her very supportive extended family, Patsy and Ronald Lacombe. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, at Richmond Road, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. No visitation of Friday. Service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
