Joan VEROFF

COHEN, Joan (Veroff). On Wednesday, March 29, 2000. Beloved wife of Manny Cohen. Daughter of the late Dora and the late Hymie Veroff. Dear and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sheldon and Linda, Ron and Debbie. Cherished granny of David, Natasha, Mitchell and Jared. Sadly mourned by her sister Sheila Greck (Ernest), her sisters-in-law Zelda Luxenburg (the late Lou Luxenberg) and the late Doris Hier (the late Joe Hier), her aunt and uncle Anita and Joe Mendelson. Joan will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Her courage was most admirable. The family would like to thank Dr. Prchal, Dr. Farley, Betty O'Connor (RN) and all the other wonderful doctors, nurses and volunteers who cared for her so compassionately at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Sunday, April 2 at 1 p.m. Burial at Hebrew Protective Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Rd., D.D.O. Shiva private.
