BROOKS, James. Peacefully at the Monfort Hospital, Ottawa on Thursday, March 30, 2000 James Brooks of Hawkesbury in his eighty-eighth years. Son of the late William and Margaret Brooks. Beloved husband of Alice Brooks (nee Fulton). Loving father of Jimmy Brooks (Marilyn) of Ottawa and Jean Hatton (Bob) of Montreal. Dear grandfather of Ian and Leah Hatton. Dearly missed by his sister Chris Edwards of Montreal. Predeceased by his brother Robert. James served with the R.C.A.F. for five years in WWII and was a retired employee of forty-six years with the Canadian Pacific Railways in Montreal. A private family memorial will be held later at his home in Hawkesbury, Ontario.
