TRAPID, Sarah (nee Gold). Suddenly in her ninety-third year on Sunday, April 2, 2000. Dearly beloved daughter of the late Rebecca and the late Samuel Gold. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Trapid. Cherished mother of Jerry and Barbara Trapid, Roslyn and Serge Lewenszpil and the late Pearl Marks. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Max Vesely, Clifford and Stella Marks (N.Y.), Cheryl and David Perot (Florida), Glenda and Lawrence Stein, Stewart and Mindy Trapid, Mitchell and Michelina Trapid, Yemina and Samuel Trapid-Lewenszpil, the late Michael Marks. Very special Bubby of Morgan and Brandon Vesley, Melissa and Amanda Marks, Kenneth, Matthew and Benjamin Perrot, Ilyssa, Jordan and Samantha Stein, Stephanie and Shelby Trapid, Adam and Ryan Trapid. Sister-in-law and friend of Millie Gold and Bernice Gold. Predeceased by her siblings and in-laws; (sister) Fanny and Max Malumed (brothers) Peter, Billy and Jerry Gold, Hinda and Leeb Sterlin, Polly and Harry Korenstein, Max and Pauline Trapido, Ella and Abba Garfinkle and four in-laws who perished in the Holocaust. She will be sadly missed, not only by family, but by several generations of friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, April 4 at 10 a.m. Burial at Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Rd., D.D.O. Shiva at her home.
