KUFTA, Anthony. 1919-2000. Suddenly in Verdun on April 2, 2000 at the age of eighty-one. Beloved husband of Jennie Chorney. Loving father of Laura and Larry (Mackisoc), Gloria and Rick (McIsaac) and Michael. Dear grandfather of Shelley, John, Mark, Brock and Allyson. Brother of Elena Doroszko and Alexander (Lendra). Brother-in-law of Alexandra Harkay, William and Nellie Chorney, many nieces and nephews. Donations to a charity of your choice will be appreciated instead of flowers. Resting at J.F. Wilson and Sons Inc. Funeral Home, 5784 Verdun Avenue, on Monday, April 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 4 from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 980 Moffat Street in Verdun, followed by a burial at Lachine Cemetery.
