DUGUID, William Paris, MB, Ch.B, MRCPath, FRCPath, FRCP(C). On April 5, 2000 in his seventy-third year. Beloved husband of Jean, dear father and father-in-law of Alastair (Gyorgyi), Ronald (Judy), Joan (Warren), Iain (Mel) and Norman (Jennifer). Devoted Grandpa of Isla, Neville, Dylan, Nicholas, Arran and Christopher. Survived by his sister Jean (the late Oliver), brother Joseph (Joyce), brother and sister-in-law Bill and Jenny Strachan, nieces and nephews. Born in Glasgow, Scotland he was educated at Hutcheson's Boys Grammar School and Glasgow University. Professor of Pathology at McGill University and Pathologist-in-Chief at the Montreal General Hospital for over twenty-five years. The family wishes to acknowledge the compassionate and respectful care shown him by the staff of the 19th Floor, colleagues at the Montreal General Hospital and friends. Special thanks to Dr. M. Laplante, Dr. D. Mulder and Dr. N.B. Whittemore for their unfailing attention. Funeral services will be private. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 14, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. in Livingston Hall Lounge, 6th floor, Montreal General Hospital, 1650 Cedar Avenue, Montreal.
