BENNETT, John (Jack). Suddenly at the C.U.S.E. Bowen, Sherbrooke on Thursday, April 6, 2000. John Bennett, in his eightieth year, beloved friend of the late Jacqueline Fillion. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Debra of Edmonton, Alberta and son Kenneth of Windsor, his grandsons Christopher and Rene of Edmonton, his beloved niece Carolyn Bennett Faddis (Jack H. Faddis) of Verdun. At the request of Mr. Bennett there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, (corner King-West and Gordon, Sherbrooke) on Saturday, April 15, 2000 at 2 p.m., followed by interment of ashes at the St. Michael's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation of Canada, 5635 Sherbrooke Street East, Montreal, Quebec, H1N 1A2, would be appreciated.
