MELAS KALLIOPI, Poppy (nee Karavoussianis). In Montreal on April 6, 2000. Passed away Kalliopi Melas at the age of seventy-seven years. Beloved wife of Petros Symeon Melas. Devoted mother to Florence (Salvatore Mascia). Cherished grandmother to Antonio, Petros and Alessandro. She will also be sadly missed by her brother John (Helen), as well as by her nephews, nieces and friends who knew and loved her. The family will receive relatives and friends at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal. The funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. in St. Michael and Gabriel Greek Orthodox Church, 11801 Elie Blanchard. Thence to Mount Royal Cemetery. Visiting hours Saturday 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.
