MITCHELL, Alfred "Alf" Charles In loving memory of Alfred "Alf" Charles Mitchell, 95 years, who passed away Monday morning, April 10th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (Nevills) Mitchell predeceased 1981. Loving father of Charles (Province) of Mindemoya, Phyllis (Claude Lalonde) of Chelmsford, Doris (Allan St Jacques predeceased) and Harry (Anne) both of Mississauga, Lois (Colan Alkenbrack) of Wahnapitae. Will be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Alfred Charles Mitchell was born in South Hampton, England. He had lived many years in the Gatchell area and worked as a smelterman at INCO Ltd. for over 25 years retiring in 1963. Alf was a member of the Orange Lodge, the Oddfellows Lodge, INCO Quarter Century, Club, Club 111 and the Copper Cliff Curling Club. At his request there will be no visitation, no funeral. Cremation at Parklawn Crematorium in Sudbury (Funeral arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., Sudbury). (The Sudbury Star)
