BACON, James William (Jim) At the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at the age of 81. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Melitta "Litty"; his children, Carol (Garry), Monica and Peter (Bev) and grandchildren Deanna and Rob Forrester and Jeff and Michelle Bacon. He is survived by his brother, Jack (Olive) in England. Predeceased by his son-in-law Ken Forrester. At Jim's request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to his preferred charity, the Cancer Society, would be appreciated. A gathering to remember the good times will be held at the Green Valley Restaurant, 1107 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, on Sunday, April 30, 2000, 4 to 7 p.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. S. Kronick and the very caring ICU and 4th Floor nurses at Queensway-Carleton Hospital.
