McLEOD, Douglas Lloyd. At the Hawkesbury General Hospital, on Tuesday, April 11, 2000 after battling cancer for a year. Doug McLeod in his eighty-third year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Innes. Much loved father of Judy (John Lutes) of Ottawa and Bruce (Sherryl) McLeod of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer and Andrew (Valerie) Lutes and Kyle and Teighen McLeod. Dear great-grandfather of Owen Lutes. Doug served overseas in WWII with the 7th RECCE and was a former employee of Dominion Textile Ltd. Friends may pay respects at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street (corner of Stanley Street), Vankleek Hill on Saturday, April 15, 2000 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Vankleek Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
