PHELAN, Mary Veronica (Vera). Peacefully at rest in San Francisco, April 11, 2000. Born in Montreal, QC, age ninety-eight years. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Co-founder of the Devotion to the Shrine of St. Jude and worked with the Dominian Fathers to foster the devotion to St. Jude at St. Dominic's in S.F. Friends may visit Thursday after 4 p.m. and are invited to attend the Vigil Service Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O'Hara Co, Geary Blvd. at Tenth Ave. S.F., CA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church, Bush and Steiner St., S.F., CA. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
