CERNIK, Christa (nee Hohnert). Following a courageous battle with cancer at Mount Sinai Hospital on April 14, 2000 aged sixty-three years. Daughter of Adolf Hohnert and of the late Herta Hohnert. Loving Mama of Caroline (Daniel). Most adored Oma of Rebecca and Dylan. Also survived by her brother Jurgen (Keiko). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses, the Old Brewery Mission or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Resting at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West. Funeral service in St. John's Lutheran Church, 3594 Jeanne Mance on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. thence to Mount Royal Crematorium. Visitation Sunday 7 to 9 and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
