KONECNY, Maru (Marie) nee Vcelakova. With great sadness Maru's family announce her death on Friday, April 14, 2000 in her eightieth year. Dearly loved and loving wife of the late Miroslav J. (Mirko). Mother of Mirko and wife Nena, Milan and wife Helga, and Milos and wife Ruth. Loving sister of Iva and Ota, and sister-in-law of Manicka and Nadenka. Grandmother of: Nora, Jairo, Jean-Paul, Mirko III, Andy, Tina, and great-grandmother of Jairo Andres. Maru was a devoted mother and grandmother and now she will be again with her beloved husband Mirko. Born in Czec Republic. She emigrated to Canada in 1950 with her family. Maru loved her native land but made Montreal and Rawdon her Canadian homes. Maru will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Family and friend will be received at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, 279-6540, (Main entrance by Mt. Royal Bvld.) on Monday, April 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
