PANAS, William In loving memory of William Panas, 73 years, who passed away Sunday evening, April 16th, 2000 at the S.R.H.-Laurentian Site. Mr. Panas was born in the Ukraine in 1926. He came to Sudbury in 1928. Mr. Panas was employed as a food service manager for Star Bottling Works for 35 years and The Coca Cola company for 10 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76 and the Sudbury Curling Club. Mr. Panas enjoyed life and had a positive, humorous outlook to the end. Beloved husband of Geraldine (Giguere) Panas (predeceased 1974) and Donna (Borkovich) Panas (predeceased 1986). Loving father of Richard (companion Debbie Ullman) of Sudbury, Dawn (husband Mark Young) of Sault Ste. Marie, Debbie McCoy, Cathy Brown (husband Bryan Martin) and Wendy Fram (husband Brian) all of Sudbury. Dear step father of Danny Borkovich (wife Mary Lou) of Sudbury and Peter Borkovich (wife Melanie) of Dundas. Loving son of Harry and Tekla Panas (both predeceased). Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Paul (wife Vicki of Sudbury) and Michael. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. At Mr. Panas' request there will be no public visitation. Memorial Mass at Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Ave., Sudbury on Wednesday, April 19th, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
