LABUTE, Dorothy (nee Hebert) 93 years. Surrounded by her family on April 18, 2000 at Versa Care Iler Lodge, formerly of Riverside. Loving mother of Midge Mailloux (nee Steep) of Tecumseh. Daughter of the late Bert and Maggie Hebert, who were founders of Abars Island View Hotel. Dear grandmother of Christopher Mailloux, Judy Mailloux and husband Marcello Cuzzolino, Mary Trowbridge and husband Chris and the late Geoff Mailloux. Great-grandmother of C.J. and Michael Trowbridge. Sister of the late Leonard, Halford and Clarence. Visiting will be held on Thurs. from 3-5 and 7-9pm. There will be no Visitation on Good Friday. The Funeral will be held on Sat. April 22, at 9:30am. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) then to St. Anne Church for a Liturgy of the Word at 10:00 am. Interment St. Alponsus Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy Labute in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.
