ETHIER, Lawrence J. Peacefully at Pembroke General Hospital on Friday April 21, 2000 in his 93rd year. Lawrence J. Ethier of Westmeath Ontario. Loving husband of Louise Ethier (nee Chevrier). Dearly loved father of Alda (George) Sniderhan), London Ontario, Dilion, Shelburne, Ont. Rev. Merlyn Ethier, Campbell's Bay, Denzil (Mona) LaPasse, Carl (Marjorie) Toronto, Arlene (Victor Lacroix), Pembroke, Gwen Devine, Nepean, Philip (Dawna) Mississauga and Melvin (Debbie) Kanata. Loving grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Edwrad and Cecilia (nee Dupuis) Ethier. Dear brother of Eva Strattan and Ida McGuire of Pembroke. Predeceased by one sister Barbara Laderoute and by brothers Louis, Alex, Joseph, Denis and Venasse. Visitation at The Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabelle Street Pembroke ON. on Monday April 24th 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church LaPasse ON. at 2 p.m. Tuesday April 25th. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. In memory of Mr. Ethier, the family would appreciate donations to The C.T. Scan Fund of Pembroke General Hospital, The Ottawa Heart Institute or the memorial fund of Our Lady of Mount Carmel or Our Lady of Grace Parishes.
