CORE BARBE Margaret (nee Barbe) In loving memory of Margaret (nee Barbe) Core, 66 years, of Coniston, who passed away Saturday morning, April 22nd, 2000 at the Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. She was born in Coniston and married William Core in Coniston in 1953. Margaret was a life resident of Coniston. A devout Roman Catholic, she attended St. Paul the Apostle Church where she belonged to the parish CWL. She had been a RNA with the Sudbury District Health Unit for 13 years, retiring in 1979. In healthier days she enjoyed travelling, she was an avid walker and a wonderful advocate and friend to children. A keen sports fan she took a great interest and pride in her family activities and accomplishments especially those of her grandchildren. Always a determined person Margaret will be remembered as a caring and sharing friend and neighbour with a wonderful sweet tooth. Now liberated from the darkness of her disease, her light of love shines brightly in heaven as she joins the communion of saints and is a guardian angel for her loving family and many friends. Beloved wife of William Core of Coniston. Loving mother of Francine (husband Andy De Marchi) of Jordan, Kathy (husband Jerry Dunster) of Ottawa and Susie (husband Jim Fox) of Redondo Beach, California. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Heather, Stephen, Amanda and James; great-grandchild Alexander. Dear daughter of Emile and Florence Barbe predeceased. Dear sister of Andy (wife Frances) of Pittsburgh, Francoise (husband Ugo Comacchio), Hector (wife Lorraine) and Aimé (wife Vivian) all of Coniston, Leo (wife Helen) of Garson, Martha Morrison (husband William predeceased) of Chatham and Joseph (wife Noreen) of Coniston. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Paul the Apostle Church, Coniston, Ontario, Wednesday, April 26th, 2000 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
