HAYES, Roderick (Rod). Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on April 23, 2000 at age seventy, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Berle King. Cherished father of Roderick (Fran). Dear brother of Joyce (Allan), Gloria (Bill), Neil (Margaret), Paul, Frank (Norma) and Peter (Margaret). Predeceased by one brother Harold. Favored and much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-uncle also. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be followed by burial in Gaspe at a later date.
