YEARWOOD, Sylvia. Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on April 24, 2000 at the age of seventy-four years. Loving wife of Courtney Yearwood. Devoted and cherished mother of Patricia (Dr. Claude Pothel), Rita (Charles Cunningham), Tony (Roslyn), Andrew (Darlene), Barbara (Dr. Charles Pierce), Richard (Susan), Andrea (Mervyn Weekes) and Michael (Charlene). Sister of Mavis Worrell. Caring grandmother of Wayne, Steven, Donald, Charles, Dawn, Jennifer, Erika, Daryl, Dion, Darrah. Also survived by her great-grandson Jaydon and many other dear relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Montreal General Hospital Palliative Care Program, the N.D.G. C.L.S.C. and the members and friends of the Union United Church for all of their support during this time. Resting at Feron's Funeral Homes, 2252 St. Antoine St. (Vanier Metro). Funeral service to be held at Union United Church on Friday, April 28 at Noon. Private interment to follow. Visiting hours Wednesday and Thursday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Reverend Charles Este Scholarship Fund, c/o the Union United Church, would be gratefully appreciated.
