GOLD, Beryl (Pooky) (nee Parnass). In her eighty-fifth year, peacefully at her home in Calgary on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. She was the beloved and loving mother of Terri (Frank) Hall and Peter (Gail) Gold. Devoted grandmother of Avrum and Jeffrey Gold. Pooky was predeceased by her adored husband Sam, her sisters Ruth (Moe) Steinberg, Molly (Maury) Wiseman, Reba (Irving) Morton, and Sheva (Joseph) Appotive, and her brother Ted (Anne) Parnass. Besides her children and grandchildren she leaves to mourn her sisters Esther (Joseph) Katz and Fruma (Rudy) Appotive, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends she made and kept throughout life. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, April 30. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Mom's memory to the charity of your choice. It is with sadness we say good-bye and with great joy we will remember her time with us.
