YOUNG, Horace Oswald Rupert Dr. On Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at the age of sixty-three, Horace entered the presence of his beloved Lord, while playing his favorite sport, badminton! As devoted husband and father, Horace created many loving memories with his family: Louise, Brian, Jennifer (David), Donna and Jacqueline. He touched many lives with his Trinidad spunkiness and his very big heart. Horace was a pediatrician on the West Island for over thirty years, working also out of the Lakeshore General Hospital. Friends and family are invited to offer their condolences on Saturday, April 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O. (514-685-3344). A service to celebrate Horace's life will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 15556 Cabot St., Pierrefonds (514-626-4205) on May 1, 2000 at 10 a.m. Donations in Horace's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Logifemme, Sun Youth or the charity of your choice.
