SMITH, Hilda. Peacefully at the Community Nursing home, Alexandria on Monday, May 1, 2000. Age ninety-six years. Hilda Marion Smith, formerly of R.R.1, Apple Hill. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph Smith and the late Fanny Bridges. Loving sister of Arita LeClair. Predeceased by three brothers, Roy, Sam, Lawrence and two sisters, Vera LeClair and Stella Smith. Will be sadly missed by several nieces, one nephew and their families. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street, South Alexandria on Friday, May 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2000 at 1 p.m. followed by cremation. Donations to the Ontario SPCA, P.O. Box 52, 550 Boundary Rd., Cornwall, Ont. K6H 5S3 would be appreciated.
