LAMONT KEMPTHORNE Velda Grace - Passed away, after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at Woodstock General Hospital, Velda Lamont, of Plattsville, in her 64th year. Beloved wife of Doug Lamont whom she married May 24, 1957. Dear mother of Tom and his wife Cairn and Joanne and her husband Phil Karn, all of Woodstock. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Matthew, Quinton, Sarah and Aaron; sister of Laura and husband Ed Dedman of Washington, Jean and husband Jim Rounds and Doug Kempthorne and friend Donna Bell, all of Innerkip. Predeceased by her parents, Murray Kempthorne and Sarah Bowman. Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, May 5, 2000 at 11 a.m., Rev. Carol Lawrence officiating. Interment in Wolverton Cemetery.
