Hilda GIRARD

GAUL, Hilda (nee Girard). Peacefully May 4, 2000, after a courageous and lengthy battle in her seventy-sixth year, passed away Mrs. Hilda Girard, beloved wife of the late Anthony Gaul. Daughter of the late Gordon Girard and the late Madeleine Ste-Croix of Gaspe (Quebec). Dear mother of Sheila (Diete Graeber), Thomas (Nicole), Wahda (Henri Bojaniwski), Diane, Verna (Hendrique Madeira), Joyce (Richard Nualt), Dennis, Bill (Johanna), Ralph and Kathryn (late Dennis Riberdy), loving grandmother of ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Survived by eight brothers and sisters, and predeceased by two brothers. Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so to the Cancer Palliative Care Residence: La Maison Victor Gadbois, 1000 Chabot, St-Mathieu de Beloeil, J3G 9Z9. Resting at the Jacques Cartier Complex and Urgel Bourgie, 1025 St-Laurent (West), Longueuil. Funeral ceremony on Monday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at St-Claire Church, 841 Notre-dame-de-Grace, Longueuil. A private family burial will take place after the service. A heartfelt thanks, from the family to all the special people, relatives, friends and medical staff for their kindness and support throughout her illness. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
