BELL, Alda Wilma (nee Phillips) In loving memory of Alda Wilma Bell (nee Phillips), 90 years, of Sudbury, who passed away peacefully Thursday, May 4th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. She was born in Sturgeon Falls and married Frederick Bell in Sudbury. A life resident of Sudbury, Alda was an Anglican. She had been the loans manager at the CIBC at Elm and Elgin Streets, retiring in 1975 with 35 years service. In younger years she enjoyed dancing with her husband and had been an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76 Sudbury. An avid Maple Leaf Hockey Fan and Blue Jay Baseball Fan she enjoyed watching their games on television and discussing their costers and outcomes with friends. Beloved wife of Fred Bell predeceased 1980. Loving daughter of John and Sophie Phillips predeceased. Dear sister of Doris Godsall predeceased. Special friend of Violet Roy and her family Jamie, Wayne and Kimberly. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, May 6th, 2000 at 8:30 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
