GIGNAC, Pearl M.(nee Prieur) 86 years on May 4, 2000 at Iler Lodge. Formerly of Belle River. Beloved wife of the late Leo J. Gignac (1987). Dear mother of John B. Gignac and wife Helen; Bramalea, Jeanne M. Ryall and husband Dan; Belleville, Raymond C. Gignac and wife Ruth; Windsor, Robert J. Gignac and wife Linda; Orillia. Daugher of the late Victor and Lea Prieur. Dearest grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Marie Cadarette, Emillee Meloche, Elizabeth Labutte, Sr. R.M. Prieur R.H.S.J. and by her brothers Henry, Noah, Antoine, Raymond,. and Eugene. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Visiting on Sun. from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sun. 7:30 p.m. The funeral wil be held on Monday May 8 at 9:30 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh (ph. # 735-2830). then to St. Anne Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery, Belle River. A tree will be planted in memory of Pearl Gignac in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.((The Windsor Star)
