Heather Ann MCPHERSON

MITCHELL, Heather Ann (nee McPherson). Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2000 after a short but courageous battle with leukemia. Heather is survived by her loving husband George, sister Bonnie MacDonald (Jim), brother David McPherson (D.D.), her children John-David, Bonnie (Gaetan) and Rob (Lori). She leaves behind two grandchildren Jesse, Kierstyn and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke Street West on Tuesday, May 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish at 4455 West Broadway on Thursday, May 11 at 10 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following the church service in the lounge. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Intensive Care Unit on the 14th floor, the staff on 17, and the gang on 19 at the Montreal General Hospital for their excellent care and all their support throughout this difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. Lachance, Dr. Carson Wong, Dr. Wittemore and Dr. Mahmood for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation in Heather's name would be much appreciated.
