STURDEVANT, John 98 years, Sunday, May 7, 2000 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Late of Essex. Husband of the late Irene (Labadie) (1970). Dearest father of Betty and husband Fred Jacobs of Essex, Helen and husband Ray Jackson of Chatham, Ken and wife Mary Ellen Sturdevant of Essex, John and wife May Sturdevant of Essex. Dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and the late Jason (1981) and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister and five brothers. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East (County Rd. 8), Essex (776-4233) Tuesday 2-5, and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate John's life from the Funeral Home Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at 10 a.m. Father Larry Mousseau officiating.
