GABRIEL, Mildred (nee Johnson). At the QE II Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 9, 2000. Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Ann Louise (Ash) Johnson. Predeceased by her husband James Arthur Gabriel and son Robert Croxen, brothers John, Jeremiah, Howard Jr., sisters Gladys and Anna. Survived by Lester Croxen (Dartmouth, N.S.), Karen Williams (Montreal), Arthur Johnson (Montreal) and several grandchildren. Mildred was a volunteer at the Camphill Veteran's Hospital. Funeral from Collins Clarke Chapel, 5610 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal on Monday, May 15 at 1 p.m. Visitation Saturday and Sunday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Church, 6215 Cote St. Luc Road, Montreal, Quebec, H3X 2H3 would be appreciated.
