LALONDE, Violet (nee Gram) 78 years, died May 17, 2000 at home. Formerly of Belle River. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Lalonde (1982). Loving mother of Jean Cole and husband Craig of London, Carl Lalonde and wife Linda of Essex, Joyce Lembke and husband Peter, Ray Lalonde and wife Patricia and Linda Lalonde and husband Gary Vaillancourt, all of Belle River. Dear grandmother of John, Doug, Mark, James, Andrew, Jannifer, Robert, Danny, Kevin, Patrick and Rachel. Dear sister of Joyce Harvey and husband Wally of England and predeceased by Eileen Nawton. Donations to the Essex County Lung Association. Visiting was held Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service was held Saturday, May 20, 2000 at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St. (728-1500) at 11 a.m. Rev. Joyce McManus officiated, followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains was held at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery on Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at 11 a.m. A tree will be planted in memory of Violet Lalonde, in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.(The Windsor Star)
