McDONALD, Wm. J. Kent. Kent died suddenly on Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at The Toronto Hospital, after years of decline from arthritis. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. John Laing and Miriam (nee Smith) McDonald, and by lifetime friend William (Bill) Larmour. Kent was a retired investment officer with Sun Life Assurance Co. He will be missed by cousins Sheila, Peter, Janet and Wallace, family and many friends. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of St. James-the-Less, 635 Parliament Street (south of Bloor Street East, on Tuesday, May 23 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Arthritis Society or CJRT Radio would be appreciated.
