NEALE, John A. (Jack). Suddenly in Columbus, Ohio at age seventy-four on May 19. Originally from Beaconsfield, he was recognized in the community as a strong swimmer and paddler having won local provincial and Dominion championships with the Lachine Racing Canoe Club. He was employed by Dominion Bridge and Dominion Structural Steel before moving to the United States where he participated in setting up Ohio Steel in Columbus, with which he was still active. He will be greatly missed by his wife Donna, his son Craig and daughters Wendy and Diana as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brothers Ward (Roxie, Calgary), Ron (Kaye, Penticton, BC), sister Ruth (Rupert, Dorval).
