CARON Gilles 1933-2000 The family announces with sorrow his death on Saturday, May 20, 2000 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of 45 years of Angeline Caron (Nee Ethier). Dear father of Liane (Glen Levacque), Fran (Gordon Vickers), Joce (Gerry Dubien), Rick (Joanne Demers) and Jay (Julie Morin) all of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Tyler Levacque, Amanda Vickers, Julie Dubien, Eric Caron, Krystle Vickers, JosÄe Caron, Selena Levacque, Justin Caron and Jordan Caron. Survived by his father Domina Caron (Yvonne). Predeceased by his mother Lucia Piche, Caron (1961). Dear brother of Denis (Carmen), Jean-Guy (ThÄrÅse), Yvon (Mona) all of Timmins, Robert (Irene) of Toronto, Claude (Lorraine), Yollande (Paul Rondeau), ThÄrÅse (Paul Edmond) all of Timmins, Carmen (Miles Vine) of Kirkland Lake, Susan (Michel Labelle), Helene (Marcel Lacroix) and Monique (Norm Lamothe) all of Timmins. Loving Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Marguerite Ethier and his sisters-in-law Annette Hunter of Atlanta, Pauline Esposito (Nick) or Toronto, Rita Gervais (Toronto), Louise Gagnon (Gaston) both of Timmins and his brother-in-law Charles Ethier (Alice) of Timmins. He will be fondly remembered playing his fiddle for family and friends, which always brought great joy to all. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at St. Sauveur Church. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations to the Glaucoma Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
