SALHANI, Alcide. Peacefully at Versa-Care Nursing Home on Sunday, May 21, 2000, Alcide Salhani in his ninety-seventh year. Beloved husband of Martha (Saikaly). Loving father of Michael (Mona) and grandfather of Brenda, George and the late Emeline. Son of the late George and Takla Salhani and brother of the late Sadie Salhani. Friends and relatives may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. at Albion on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church. Interment Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal on Wednesday. In memoriam donations to the St. Elias Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. The family is indebted to the staff and friends at Versa-Care Lodge for their caring support over the past seven years.
