BARBER, Ruth (nee Ellis). At Montreal on May 26, 2000 in her one hundred and sixth year. Wife of the late Walter Barber. Mother of Bernice (Carlo Martinez) and Alex (Linda Gordon). Grandmother of Paul, Anna, Lucinda, Karita, Philippa, Mark and Geoffrey. Great-grandmother of Lola, James, Dorethea, Miranda, Carolina, Daisy, Jack, Dillon, Geoffrey and Kaleigh. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2000. Arrangements entrusted to Kane & Fetterly.
