STEWART, Richard (Dick) Peter. P. Eng. Mechanical of St. Catharines, formerly of Montreal and Sherbrooke, Quebec passed away at Hotel Dieu Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer in his seventy-first year on Friday, May 26, 2000. Dear brother of Dr. Royal Stewart of Montreal, Robin and his wife Yvette Stewart of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his brothers Bruce Stewart (Vancouver, B.C.) and William (Bill) Stewart (Stanstead, Quebec). Fondly remembered by all, including his thirteen nieces and nephews and especially by his dear friend Brenda of Ottawa. Mr. Stewart is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where family will receive friends on Monday 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service will be celebrated in the funeral chapel on Tuesday with cremation to follow. Memorial Remembrances to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
