GARDNER, Irene May (nee Zuercher). The death of Mrs. Irene Gardner, the wife of the late Robert Maxwell Gardner, formerly of Keswick, Ont. and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, in her ninety-fifth year, took place at Riverglen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton on Friday, May 26, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen and her husband Kenneth Jones of Cheshire, England; Betty and her husband Graeme Smith of Prince William, New Brunswick; two sisters, Helene and her husband Ken Bovingdon of Baie d'Urfe, Quebec, Lucy and her husband Gerald Leadbetter of Gloucester, Ont.; grandchildren Peter Jones and his wife Anne Marie, Ian Smith and his wife Judy, Andrea Norris and her husband Neil; Bruce Smith and his wife Malena and great-grandchildren Ashley Jones, Kaelie and Rian Smith and her very special friends, Diane Graves and her family Bill, Amy, Jody and Jane. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Wilding and brothers Paul Zuercher and Edward Zuercher. Funeral service will be held at the Keswick United Church, 177 Church Street, Keswick on Tuesday, May 30, 2000 at 2 p.m. Visitation at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service. Cremation. Interment of cremains will take place at Christ Church Cemetery, Roches Point at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
