Roy Alfred L'HIRONDELLE

L'HIRONDELLE, Roy Alfred On May 27, 2000, Mr. Roy Alfred L'Hirondelle of Edson, Alberta, beloved husband of Rose, passed away at the age of 60 years. Besides his loving wife Rose, Roy also leaves to mourn his five children; Linda and husband Alvin Kidder of Spruce Grove, AB, JoAnn and husband Fred Mielke of Provost, AB, Alfred and wife Brenda of St. Albert, AB, Leo and wife Mary of Edson, and Jeannie and husband Allan Hemmings also of Edson. There are 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren left to mourn as well as his brothers and sisters: Kenneth and wife Yvonne, Peter and wife Annabell, Bobby and wife Murial, Alphonse, Darlene L'Hirondelle, Violet and husband John Laderoute all of High Prairie, AB and Lloyd and wife Dorothy of Edmonton, AB. There are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends left to mourn. His father Roy in 1986, his mother Violet in 1996 and his brothers Dennis in 1993 and Donald in 1999 all predeceased Roy. Also predeceasing Roy was his grandson LeRoy Kidder in 1998. Father Roger Keller celebrated Liturgy of the Resurrection on Wed. May 31, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson. Interment followed in the Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, #1200 College Plaza, 8215 - 112 St. Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8 is suggested by the family.
