Denis Maurice TURGEON

TURGEON Denis Maurice, beloved husband of Eileen Turgeon of Calgary, passed away peacefully at Agape Hospice on Sunday, May 28, 2000 at the age of 52 years. Denis was born July 9, 1947 in Spiritwood, SK. He had resided in Calgary since 1967, and was employed by Canada Post for the past twenty-five years. He was a member of the Calgary Choral Society and the Dutch Canadian Choir. "God saw you getting tired,The cure was not to be. So He closed His arms around you, And whispered, 'Come with Me'. You suffered much in silence. Your spirit did not bendé You faced your pain with courage Until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with usYour fight was all in vain God took you to His loving homeAnd freed you from all pain." Besides his loving wife, Denis is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law; Lucien Turgeon, Noel and Doris Turgeon, Andre and Joyce Turgeon, all of Leoville, SK; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Conrad Bussiere of Vonda, SK; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Jean Paul Turgeon and mother Marie Anne Laventure. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at 7 :00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Thursday, June 1, 2000 at 2 :00 P.M. with the Rev. Inocencio C. Cambaling and the Rev. Rheal Bussiere celebrants. Graveside Service will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK at a later date.
