BAILLARGEON, Marcel Damien 84 years, peacefully on May 31, 2000, at Metropolitan Hospital. Life long resident of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of Bertha (nee Schiller). Loving father of Marc and friend Magda Schepers, of Tecumseh; Robert, of Ottawa; Jerome and Natalie, of Tecumseh; Victor and Sonia, of Toronto. Son of the late Victor and Annie (nee Lemire). Dear pepe of Nicole, Danielle, Monique and Samuel Marcel. Dear brother of Raoul, of Tecumseh and the late Clovis and Norbert. Dear brother-in-law of Florence Baillargeon. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Marcel practiced law in the Town of Tecumseh for 40 years, was a member of the Ontario Bar Association until the age of 73, had served for 5 years in the R.C.A.F. in England in WWII, was a member of the Col. Paul Poisson Br. 261 Royal Canadian Legion, was a founder of Club St. Jean Baptist and the Caisse Populaire (Tecumseh). Visiting Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Legion Service Friday at 7 p.m. Parish prayers Friday 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 9:30 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to the St. Anne Church (Tecumseh) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Fr. Larry Bruneta will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. Special thanks to the Staff at Brouillette Manor and Dr. Sheehan. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the Canadian Hearing Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Marcel Baillargeon in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000.(The Windsor Star)
