DUBUC, Marcel Passed away peacefully at Perley Hospital/Rideau Veteran's Home in his 83rd year, lovingly surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Lucienne D'Aoust; loving father of Richard (Deborah); Denis (Linda); and Anita Bissonnette (Mike). A most devoted grandfather to Kenneth (Jennifer); David (Joanne) of Kingston; Matthew (Rhonda); Andrew, Patrick, Luc and Marc. A proud great-grandfather to Daniel and Mackenzie. Marcel was a World War II Veteran who served overseas with the RCAF 110th Squadron. He retired from the Public Works Department of the Federal Public Service in 1980 after 23 years of employment. Marcel was predeceased by his father Hildege, and mother Maria Amesse of Montreal. A memorial celebration of Marcel's life will be held in the Chapel of the Perley Hospital/Rideau Veteran's Home, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, on Monday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. Marcel's ashes will rest peacefully at his beloved cottage at Lac Sam. "Dad, although we will not be able to see you or hold your hand, please know you will live on forever in our hearts, giving us your guidance and watching over us. Your love and memory will live on always in the hearts of your family and many friends." In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Marcel's name to the Perley Hospital/Rideau Veteran's Home.
