GOURDJI, Albert Yehouda. At home surrounded by those he loved on Thursday, June 1, 2000, age sixty-seven. Sweetheart to Daisy for almost fifty years. Father and friend to Frances, Allan, and Glen. Father-in-law of Marc Manley, Vera Iny, and Robin Kazdan. Beloved Baba of Alec Manley, Joelle, Jessica and Talia Gourdji, Chloe and Shayne Gourdji. Brother and brother-in-law of Edward and Margarite Gourdji, Alfred and Judy Gourdji, Naim and the late Gertrude (Gourdji) Shahrabani, Naji and Margarite Gabbay, Naim and Renee Sheeri, Saleh and Laura Gabbay, Vicky and the late Salim Gabbay, Rena and the late Maurice Gabbay, Saida (Gabbay) Mashaal. He was a true gentleman and will leave those who loved him with an unfillable void. The family would like to express their thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the nurses of the Victorian Order of Nurses, in particular Louise Brossard, Marija Rutkauskas, Jane Lumsden as well as Marie Laperriere and Jean Ross of the CLSC.
