CAPE, Fan (nee Rachkin). Peacefully at home in her ninety-third year on Thursday, June 1, 2000. Wife of the late Victor Cape. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Ronald and Libi of San Francisco, Michael and Maureen. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline Cape and Arnold Perlstein, Julie and Grant Haddix, Sharon Cape, David and Victoria Cape, Robert and Bonnie Cape. Loving great-grandmother of Samantha and Alexander; Seth, Victoria, Alison and Zachary, Jeremy and Alexander; Harry, Josh and Theo; Benjamin. Sadly mourned by Maureen's children, Lisa and Stacy Stern. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ida and Jimmy Brotman, Bella Beran and the late Ethel Goldsmith, the late Rae Rubin, the late Tom Rashkin and sister-in-law of Saul and Roslyn Cape, Ruby Cape. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Lysy for his compassion and understanding, to Leticia Shagol for her loving tender care over the past two years, and to all the supportive staff at Place Kensington. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, June 2, at 12 noon. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Blvd. Shiva at 2333 Sherbrooke St. West, #1201.
