VALLEAU _ Laurence Everett, June 20, 1920 - June 1, 2000, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Born in Saskatchewan he resided most of his life in B.C. He spent all of his working life in the logging industry, the last 40 plus years with his sons. Laurence was a quiet, gentle man devoted to his wife (Ida) of 59 years, and his family. A loving and loyal father, grandfather and friend, we are lucky to have had him in our lives. Predeceased by son Ken; brother Gerald and granddaughter Shannon. Survived by: wife Ida, sons David (Diane), Rick (Cecile), daughter-in-law Doreen, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers: Ron (Sue), Lindsay (Jean), Bob (Dina), Howie, Eugene (Pearl), sister Yvonne (Clarence). No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society, 813 Darwin Avenue, Victoria, B.C., may be made in memory of Laurence.
